I dont have any real source but i read rumors that Vin has a good amount of respect in the business cause hes built that fast and furious franchise and made a lot of people a lot of money. Then he submarined Black Adam cause of goofy demands as well as tanking other related movies like Shazaam for not wanting to look weak. And to top it all off all this coming out while he puts on the super nice guy face makes him look ever faker then usual.
TLDR he needs to fully turn heel already.
