>The last available count I grabbed was 9,392. They opened up the rest of the stadium yesterday (the upper decks behind the hard cam area are all partially opened along with some 200 level sections). If you're curious where I'm at, I have them around 70K+ distributed. Just to repeat, that doesn't mean 70K sold; it's just where I landed at this moment when combing through the map. When I asked readers about several sections that I questioned (if opened), almost every section received responses (which means it's hard to rule out some sections I thought for sure weren't yet opened). I'll be working on this over the next few days and hopefully have an update soon!
>Update: I should've worded that last part better. I'm seeing reports being spread around that I'm reporting 70K sold. They haven't sold 70K. The minute they do, I'm sure Tony Khan will tweet it out. I mentioned the 70K figure as where I have them at the moment but what I failed to mention was I don't believe this is the distributed count. They definitely didn't comp 10,000 tickets (after selling as many as they did). This is the challenge of not having access to the ticket map from the first presale. Why is that important? Because it gives me an idea of what has and hasn't been opened (not every section has been opened in full. Both companies hold seats back for various reasons which is why often times late in a sale we'll see seats pop back up). My apologies for writing that I had them around 70K and not being more clear that it is far from a first estimate. I don't know when that will come. For now, lets roll with what we know for sure. I can tell you when the available count changes and that will give us an idea how much more they've tacked onto that 60K number.
