>>10118716I can't help but feel Shida's reign was like that of Bret Hart. Though the fans are firmly behind Shida, and though she connected with them through her work rate, carrying many women to good and some genuinely great matches, TK's was only ever focused on Baker, much like how Vince was only ever focused on Lugar and then Diesel. Even when Shida was the champion, all the main female storylines and programs were on Baker. I honestly think if Baker wasn't injured, and that Joshi hadn't committed suicide, Shida wouldn't have been the champion. It's very telling that they create a brand new female championship and then give it immediately to Baker. It was almost as if TK had the old belt, which in his mind had been tainted at this point, and tried to do a reset. I'm sure Baker would still be the champion and have the longest reign if it wasn't for Rosa - which explains Rosa's heat.
