He was always awkward and kind of bad. New Japan actually seemed to like him before he disappeared into WWE. Then they made a big deal over his return and it was one of the most hilarious failures in recent history. His return run in new japan was embarrassingly cringe, and this is considering that the same company employed the young bucks and bone soldier/captain new japan.
He then went to All Japan and they let him shit it up a bit and it wasn't so bad. He did ok, I guess he's still there.
