i think e drones genuinely lack perspective, and thats where all the ANGER comes from. they think we just say aew is amazing and better than wwe out of nowhere
reality is, AEW has grown SO MUCH that it’s unbelievable. every part of it down to camera work, editing, the roster, the storylines, the trainers, dark, elevation…if you go watch a random aew from 2019 youre gonna see 1 hour 40 minutes of GARBAGE like:
>jack evans and anjelico vs. OG dark order (didnt even have names, random goons)
>emi sakura taking up 5 minutes of airtime to sing “we will rock you”
>rookie britt baker cutting a drunken “haha imm the prettiest girl on this BOAT!!!” promo
>people like fucking MARKO STUNT getting more than 10 minutes of tv time in matches
>brandi rhodes doing a cringe bald headed gimmick with luther and some unnamed drone
>luther’s gimmick being that “his face is symmetrical” (this was an actual storyline btw)
>even smaller wrestlers since everyone wasnt tv ready. imagine aew now but everyone 15 pounds lighter and 2 shades paler
it sucked. and for it to survive and now sell out 75,000 seats??? its amazing.
