>>10107469I'm ambivalent about Shota, I'm a lot more hyped for Narita, Big Yen Tsuji and Uemura, but its pretty tiresome when people get hyped up for their return and then the moment they botch a spot or two or have a sub-par semi-main event they are suddenly a flop. In the gamethreads I make fun of Shooter calling himself a roughneck while handing out bracelets and glowsticks like a volunteer at a local parade, but I'm also not writing him off just because his return gimmick isn't great and his first few matches had rough spots. Surely Stardust Genius Naito and pre-2022 Wato should give people more pause before dismissing guys right back from excursion, just give them some time.
