>>10109127>PPVsThis is kind of the problem, the "so bad it's good" stuff is mainly on Nitro. I wouldn't wish Thunder on my worst enemy. As for the PPVs, like 90% of them are plain bad. Yeah, you get shit like Russo's shoot, but then you have to sit for the actual show and it's never worth it.
Russo can make a hot angle, but the matches he books make no sense and are like always full of people who are either incompatible or the gimmick for the match forces them to work in a less-than-stellar way.
Of all of them, I guess Spring Stampede 2000 is the least Russo of Russo shows, because this is when they came back and reset everything so the show was kind of normal. Bash 2000 has the Russo show, but it's a terrible show. New Blood Rising (About a faction that was basically done at the time) has a great ladder match and then proceeds to be one of the shittiest shows.
The charm of 2000 is that like 6000 things would happen on Nitro. It's like snorting a line and then being asked to write all your thoughts down--except someone was booking a fucking wrestling show. But, the PPVs suffered hard because of that.
