No I mean for anything. For instance Nikki vs Ash and Sapphire vs Onigiri could be Onsen matches, plus whatever happens with Cassie and Sheila or La Jefa.
But Onsen is going to too far out for those imo. So a small event for stuff like that. I'd like to see some contenders for the Hardcore title step forward as well. Maybe a big #1 contenders match for the tag titles since those haven't been defended in a while, or maybe NATO are already the #1 contenders idk. But I think we need to hear something from the tag and hardcore divisions.

For those playing at home, I really liked all of the matches today. I played around with some settings and I think the matches were better for it. I can only apologise to those that had the <5 minute matches previously, and I happily accept simming them again if there are issues.

For those that haven't already, Red Hands vs BSD is fantastic and a must watch.

I have no "plans" of pursuing a rematch with Skelly. Like I wrote in Amy's promo the match was a one and done situation to "settle the score" and although the score was clearly not settled a deal is a deal. There's no reason this angle can't be picked up at a later date or used to fuel a stable feud at some point.

Just a follow up to my first post: there are absolutely not HARD AND FAST rules about who can compete at any time. But my plan is to give as many people matches as possible, with approximately ~5 per "show". So you can request matches, but don't be that jerk that wants your waifu competing three times a week at the expense of other characters.

That said: please make callouts! There were no jobber matches on today's show, and I think that is a fantastic thing. Every match felt important.
If you want your character to face a jobber, that's fine too! Just try to have something like a post-match promo or something ready to go to build from it.

Priscilla has 60 in desperation, if you look at the personality traits, based on the descriptions desperation is the trait that causes them to cheat. Acknowledging there's a crowd is a good way to give the moment life. A major babyface starting chants makes sense.
Priscilla did something similar during the same segment in the last thread mentioning that the women and children booed but then men cheered which also makes sense for how the fans would react to Divine Angels.

Amy squares up to Skelly then holds a middle finger up in front of her face. Skelly slaps it away as Amy bails out of the ring under the bottom rope and strolls over the the timekeepers table where the Golden Burden rests. Skelly realises she can't keep her eyes on both Amy and Priscilla and puts her back to the turnbuckle, if Amy bolts with the championship she can probably beat her up the ramp but the Stellar Stars aren't at ringside and it's still two on one.

Amy picks up the Golden Burden and gazes at it for a moment then teases like she's going to run, instead she just laughs and tosses the belt to the floor in front of the ring apron and in the ultimate sign of disrespect spits at it. The spit misses but neither Skelly nor the crowd see this. As the crowd boos Amy slowly walks slowly up the ramp and to the back leaving Priscilla to take care of her business with Skelly.

I don't have a problem either way, sometimes a promo just doesn't get any reaction because of the time of day it was posted or whatnot so (you)s are not a reliable indicator of reaction. There's nothing seriously wrong with writing a crowd reaction into a promo, I can trust other players here to know what makes sense

But I do enjoy the live (you) feedback when I do get it, they're a good kind of pops and heat

The sense of paralyzing fear that had washed over Nikki fades and she starts to laugh. "You brought... a toy?"

Wicked thoughts start to form in her mind. If she could take one of the skeleton's friends out, Priscilla would love that, right? Priscilla would smile at her. Tell her she did well. Stroke her hair. Say that she lo- no. What the hell is she thinking at a time like this?

Nikki lunges toward Croakie, who reacts with a quick kick to her midsection. Nikki's forced exhale is accompanied by a wild swing of her arm, catching Croakie on the head with her elbow. The green haired girl stumbles and Nikki cackles as she leaps onto her, forcing her back against a large glass window with a thud. A massive crack immediately forms in the glass.

"Croakie not want this!" Croakie protests.

Through the cracked glass, Nikki can see Amy's van parked directly below. "I don't care what you want! What about what I want!?" Nikki screams. She drives a kick into Croakie's midsection and the crack in the glass spreads. Nikki laughs.

"No!" Croakie screams, pushing back against Nikki. With the determination of a woman who knows she could be fighting for her life, Croakie rattles Nikki's jaw with a powerful punch

Nikki responds by clawing at Croakie's face, catching her in the eye. Croakie cries out in pain and Nikki forces her back toward the glass with a powerful knee strike to the chin.

Croakie's body hits the glass, finally shattering the rest of it. Fear is written on her face as she grabs at the nearest thing she can to keep herself from falling - Nikki's jacket.

"Madame Divine will love me for this," Nikki whispers.

She slams her own head forward into Croakie's face.

Croakie's desperate grip on Nikki's jacket is loosened, but not before she inadvertently pulled the pin loose from that memento from the trip to Skelly's villa that was in Nikki's jacket pocket. As Croakie falls, so too does the grenade, to the floor right in front of Nikki

Croakie looks up at the sky as she falls, it seems the seconds pass like minutes.
Images flash before her eyes.

The look on Amy's face when she was given her birthday present. The look in her eyes the times and her loss for words when Keron tried to make amends.

The excitement of Onigiri taking part in training when rice was on the line. How happy she was when it was time to train with kendo sticks.

The time she met Shogun in the bar and they exchanged a kind conversation, followed by Sheila passing out drunk after Keron out-drank her.

Holly actually at a loss for words and blushing when Keron gave her money for a new phone. Winning in an eating contest against her.

The little squeaks of Minnie Moo when Keron would throw her around.

Squeakie, she remembered him and all the times he would run away as she fed him, only for him to return later to eat his dinner.

The memory of when Ash asked her for a match after the rumble.

The feeling of Skelly's warmth the first time they hugged and every time they had hugged afterwards. There was genuine affection in those hugs, she felt safe in them...

Keron crashes hard on top on Amy's van and breaks through the roof.
In a daze she sees the gift she had given Amy, still in the bag sitting in a corner of the now wrecked van.
Keron uses the last of her strength to reach into the bag and pull out the poorly made Stellar Stars armband she had given her friend.
Through the throbbing in her head she seemed to notice a dull "boom."

Then everything went dark.

Nikki's eyes widen as the grenade clatters to the floor. But this time, she doesn't freeze, and immediately breaks into a full speed sprint across the room.

Then BOOM. The grenade explodes into a ball of fire. Nikki manages to put good distance between herself and the explosion, but not quite enough to avoid being sent flying against a wall by the concussive force.

She slumps to the floor. Every inch of her body aches. Her ears ring viciously. But she's alive. Can the same be said of Skelly's friend? She gazes at the shattered glass and the thick smoke of the explosion. Probably not.

She starts laughing, if the pained wheezes she musters can even be called that. "T-take that, Stellar Stars," she gasps.

She struggles to her feet, and starts to gingerly walk away, using the wall for support. After this, Ash Romero will have to wait a few more days, all Nikki can think of right now is making it back home, soaking in a warm bath and sleeping in a comfortable bed for as long as possible.

...surely, Skelly would be alright. She darted back and forth, attempting to make up her mind on what she'd do first, before her fight or flight carried her towards the crash. Sprinting towards the nearest exit, she made her way through fearful fans who were scrambling around as WWA authorities attempted to gain control of the situation.
Eventually, she reached the scene. That van...seemed oddly familiar, but she couldn't quite place a finger on where she had seen it. Never the less, she ran towards the door, attempting to open it. Locked. She made her way around to the hood, climbing up it to see:

She was banged up. Bad. Any fall that makes a van's roof collapse...from an explosion? No, the impact was clearly before...it didn't matter, help was required. Sapphire grabs it before lifting Nicole off of her feet, carrying her in a sprint into the arena, where she Jen Eddie is in the middle of practicing spots for a match alongside May Calls. As she spots the divine angels running to the ring, she quickly ducks out and starts running the opposite direction thought the empty arena, wanting no part of it. As Sapphire tries to crawl under the ring with Nikki, the two disappear from sight, as May hopes through the ring hoping to get revenge for what they did to her tag team partner, she searches under the ring for them, finding nothing but the usual fare of weaponry.

The two appear from under a bed in the Divine infirmary, Sapphire panting, exhausted as she places Nikki on the bed. The girl is no heavyweight, but sprinting through an arena carrying her and attempting to teleport with her took it's toll as the adrenaline begins to wear off, Sapphire finds herself leaning on the bed, resting her arms on it, before laying her head on Nikki's chest as she also passes out.

Just a quick personal note regarding the cheering/ booing in promos, I added the boos to Omega's return promos because I wanted her to be a heel. That just made sense to me. It doesn't mean I think she's more or less over than anyone else, and if I'm being honest I think her return fell a bit flat. But the boo sound effect was kind of an integral part to the story I wanted to tell.

Amy finally arrives back at the Divine Mansion having had to walk all the way home from the arena, her phones battery had died on the way but she'd made herself feel better by taking a detour to the Night Villa to forcefully embed her baseball bat in the front door. Doors are more expensive that you'd think, especially in a place like Spaghettitown. From the deluge of messages she'd ascertained that Nikki was here, the fact that she was at the Divine Mansion and not in intensive care or the morgue brought her a little comfort but she still had no idea what to expect as she climbed the stairs, walked along the corridor and after taking a deep breath entered the infirmary.

Amy finds Nicole unconscious, or maybe just sleeping, on her back with Jennifer laying perched on the very edge of the bed clutching her arm. She looks like she may have been crying. Amy brushes the loose hairs out of Jennifer's face then covers her with a blanket. Unsure of what she should do but feeling utterly exhausted Amy lays perched on the opposite side of the bed and clutches Nicole's free arm. As Amy feels the warmth in Nicole's arm she suddenly becomes overwhelmed with emotion and weeps silently.
