Because outside of AEW, in-ring talent doesn't mean you draw money. Omega is beloved in AEW because it's the smark promotion and he has the 7 Meltzer meme star aura around him. But even then I'd argue that he isn't as over as Mox, a way worse worker, but a guy who clears him on the mic and in terms of character work.
