Civil Suits are different than Criminal suits. There's no presumption of innocence in Civil Suits and the Jury doesn't need to unanimously agree with a verdict just a simple majority. In fact this suit is already way beyond the statue of limitation but due to a law passed by New York state that for some reason allows such suits to happen for one year which was most definitely not done to try to throw fake lawsuits at Trump.
