So can someone explain to me, who has never watched AEW (aside for a couple of clips here) why these 4 are donsidered the pillars?
I though the whole point of pillars would be 'mist have, company carrying performers', when I first heard about the 4 pillars I thought they'd be someone like Jericho, Omega or Cody, but who the hell are these 4 and what makes them special above the other 'home grown' AEW wrestlers?

They haven't done enough to justify why these guys deserve to be in the main event. None of them have had consistent pushes, they've all just been fucking around for the past year. Sammy and Darby weren't even on the last PPV.

The only reason this match exists is because MJF mentioned them in the "Pillars" promo. Pillars? These guys? When was their last main event before this whole angle? You cannot present this as a dream match when Omega, Hangman, Danielson and Moxley are feuding. White has debuted and Hobbs, the Acclaimed and Cassidy are hot as fuck. Those are the guys who should be pushed.

Jungle Boy's last main event was last June. He lost to the Young Bucks. Sammy's was in November. He lost to Danielson.
Darby's was in February. He lost to Joe.
MJF status has been protected only because he never fucking fights. But you can't come to me and ask me to care about these guys when I never see them actually act like the Pillars they claim to be.
