WB was paying less than a million per episode and they've committed to 3 weekly shows now for 5 years and want to introduce streaming internationally.
The headline is "AEW gets a billion" but "WBD commits to a million per episode per show" seems reasonable when its 52 weeks of live sports content that is cheaper than everything else and there's a writers strike happening right now
