These rules are just officializing that trios matches will be big dumb PWG spotfests, which is fine, but they really should've established all of this when they introduced the belts.

I don't know if I just headcannoned this...but isn't the standard AEW Countout already 20? I know they never happen, but wasn't this a thing that got shilled in 2019? I feel like a remember Dave talking about it and saying something along the lines of "It'll be 20 because everyone other than WWE uses 20".

It isn't bad or convoluted. Just poorly explained. These are actually the most interesting match stipulations AEW has ever done and I welcome a break from the usual monotony.

the only thing said on AEW commentary was tag wrestlers had til 10 instead of 5 to get out of the ring (which was also to allow for PWG spotfest fuckery)

No rope break just means that going to the ropes will not allow escape.
It’s like the pure belt rules with rope breaks except all three are used up at the start of the match.
DQ is enforced.

I think #4 can lead to some cool things like the KOPW title.
