In this week's Observer, Dave Meltzer had the following items regarding AEW:

-concerning bringing Punk back, Warner Brothers Digital was one of the entities that wants him in for the second show, although Meltzer adds that Collision likely would happen whether he comes back or not

-no apologies or fence mending has happened yet. legal issues are still in play that may prevent contact or communication. At least one person (Meltzer makes clear this is not Punk) wants to apologize but is not allowed to make any contact. At least one source says Punk should have to be the first one to make any apologies (but other apologies are required).

-no information about what might happen with Colt Cabana, currently a producer for RoH; after Collision starts. RoH is planned to tape on Saturdays before Collision. Meltzer notes that nobody can tell him because they can't say anything about the saturday show until it is announced and also can't speak on backstage issues.

-negotiations with the Bucks and Omega on new contracts have made no progress.

-Meltzer devotes a paragraph to clarifying how the booking goes: Tony Khan is the booker and comes in with outlines for the show. Will Washington will be in the room, along with QT Marshall and Sonjay Dutt. The backstage agents/coaches and top stars get input on their programs and directions. Meltzer says Marshall and Dutt are co-number 2's in the booking room, despite what has been said about Washington's role.

-Khan remains interested in having a show at Craven Cottage (the home of Fulham football club) but it is cost prohibitive. It would cost about $1 million to stage a show, and even if the stadium sells out, it barely turn a profit.
