Impact is on a niche channel that is on the upper tier of cable subscriptions, their numbers will never be good unless AXS TV goes to basic cable. Meanwhile, GayEW is on one of the oldest and most available cable channels in America and can't draw a million.

The angle is that they allegedly already signed the match before Page was stabbed in the eye and they're teasing whether or not he'll be there, meaning he will be. So instead of just letting the angle ride and replacing him with a different (bigger though that's a ton of candidates) star they're having him return in front of 1000 people on a house show
