I was convinced LA knight was gonna interfere in that after Xavier cheated him the week before to set up a triple threat for the IC at backlash. It was literally set up for it. I worked myself into a seething shoot when it didnt happen
I guess Gunther was never gonna defend the IC at Backlash because he was off getting married but then they could've used it to set up Knight vs Xavier with the winner getting the title shot
I wouldn't even mind Knight jobbing to Gunther but at least give him some fucking opportunities that aren't dark matches or filler matches ffs
