>>10160405So WOW is free on the CW app, and I went through and watched all of Nikkita Lyons matches from before she joined NXT when she was still wrestling as Faith the Lyoness, and I’ve got to say, WOW really isn’t that bad. The production value is stupidly high, probably just by virtue of filming in LA they have a bunch of Hollywood castoffs with actual film experience doing the heavy lifting, but it looks incredible. And the roster is so thin everyone gets premium video packages and music so they all feel important. That being said it plays out like it’s booked by a child. Very basic heels and faces and cartoony gimmicks. And I don’t know who their trainer is but the wrestling isn’t great; when they had girls like Tessa Blanchard there they could carry the other girls to good matches, but that was the closest they ever got to good in-ring action. Worth a watch if there’s something or someone you’re interested in, but otherwise an easy skip.
