Have you ever watched AAA or CMLL? The shows are structured differently, different match types are more common, workers tend to have a different style. Yes it's still wrestling but it's like hamburgers and tacos. Both are good, both delicious, but very different.

If all you know of lucha is flippyshit then it doesn't seem that different since its become so proliferated. Everyone flips and it was all borrowed from lucha. There are still differences in how much flippyshit there is, in match types and structure and stuff like that which makes lucha distinct.
