For all the shit they pulled, they wisely would make alliances with guys they know would whoop their ass - like Scott Steiner. Kevin went after guys who were weak and old and kept his place at the top through intimidation. So with those kinda guys praising you and talking you up, I'm sure Bischoff 100% believed it. He didn't belong in the group at all though. He was a dork, and the nWo was not about having dorks. That's why Ted DiBiase barely is in it and he's like the fourth member of the group.
