Honestly, I only keep they're keeping the belts on him at this point so he can hit the 1000 days mark for the Universal belt, and so he can beat Punk's 434 day record for the WWE belt. He's only 23 days from beating Punk's record, and odds are he won't even defend the belt in the next 23 days anyway. There's a good chance he doesn't even defend it again until SummerSlam, unless he just does a random defense against some midcarder on an episode of Smackdown or something.
