Referees will usually allow one or two, they allow Reigns' Superman Punch for instance, but will get mad if wrestlers try to ground and pound one another and will warn against it. The wrestlers usually stop at this point but some have been disqualified for continuing. It's kinda like breaking up a pin or submission to help your team mate in a tag match, it's a soft rule which refs are lenient on as long as it isn't done excessively. Usually the ref allows one break-up per wrestler and warns them they could be disqualified for doing it a second time.
