No. Roman should have lost to Cody or to Sami at Elimination Chamber. The only way to save the story that has gone on too long is to have Jey be the one to beat him. The reign is stale and the Bloodline story is boring at this point.

Honestly Sami winning at Elimination Chamber just before wrestlemania would have been historic just because you'd never expect such a long reign to end a month before wrestlemania. By the time it got to Cody, there was literally no one left to beat Roman but Cody. After processing that Roman actually won, I just lost interest in the show because there wasn't anything to look forward to.

For a while I really thought no, because the quality of the weekly shows took a major dive after Mania, and it felt like the story should've ended there. But I like where things have gone since then, and I'm extremely excited for Night of Champions, so maybe it was the right call after all.

Absolutely not. But it can be salvaged, Roman needs to lose and in a big way. Like he needs to lose his titles and his cousins.
