I was happy for his big return and thought he held up his end of the Ospreay match, although he obviously hasn't set the company on fire. His match with ZSJ was good at least, and if he slows down and works more methodically I think he could really shine in the G1. His biggest issue is figuring his character out; I'm sure him working with his mentor Stone Cold Bruiser Onita the Butcher again is going to lead to him developing a mean streak to his character one way or another, so I'm interested to see what happens there.
He doesn't have everything fully put together yet, but he has the crowd on his side, so he's already over the biggest hurdle, and as long as he keeps working towards improving he'll be fine. (See also: Wato) I'm not being a fanboy, I'm just seeing things clearly and saying to give them some time before calling a returning Young Lion the next Captain New Japan and hyping the next guy on excursion who you haven't seen in two years as the return of Inoki, which is what happens over and over.
