Since they looked the part and acting the part so naturally, they were instantly established as legit. Ragdolling their opponents with brute strength and reckless abandon is a big part of that. It's fitting that in 1997, Ahmed would team up with the Road Warriors briefly.
Anyway, guys like them are a testament to why we old timers keep saying that believability is so important.
