I don’t think Punk is a good fighter, either. He got murdered by Teddy Hart. But you hold it above him as if he thought and presented himself as a legit tough guy, which I don’t think he ever really did. It would be different if a guy like Haku stepped into an Octagon and got raped. The only thing he had in his presentation was knowing Muay Thai or some fucking martial art, but that still could be somewhat legitimate.
If you remember Brawl 4 All, Bart Gunn had no training but beat the fuck out of everyone because he was legit. Bart then tried to learn how to box, and got mopped by Butterbean because he tried to actually “box”. Could it be Punk would’ve fared better in the Octagon if he didn’t train to be “legit”.
How come he’s respected by everyone for entering a dangerous sport despite the outcome, but faggots on a wrestling board act as if this is an ego death? Is it insecurity being projected? Is it bottom feeders?
