On surface level maybe, but then you see people talking about how he was always starting shit backstage. Plus there was "GOD DAMMIT VICKIE". I think he had a lot of anger issues. Plus he was a druggy until like 3 years before his death.

source. i've only heard him being a cool guy, but a huge christ follower. Always trying to spread the Lord's words to people. nothing wrong with it, but i can understand if people weren't too fond of being told stuff like this over and over again

There is no after life, but if you were to believe any of the major religions in the literal sense, he would most likely be in hell. God is always depicted as very VERY angry and spiteful.

From the sounds of things he really only became an open christfag after the drunk/druggie era, 2002 onwards, from everything I've heard he was always a nice guy and good friend but one with a short fuse. I watched that two hour shoot interview that was posted a few days ago and even there you can see his emotions are pretty wide open.
