>>10267297I think he’s pretty great but lacks good rivals to really bring out the best in him. The only ones as good as him on the mic in the entire company are Punk, Christian, Jericho, and Jay (despite Jay being given little opportunity to showcase it in AEW).
Punk being injured and Regal leaving both kinda put his run on a rocky start but I think he’s been covering nicely. His mini feud with Starks was entertaining, Danielson was a nice feud and led to a great match. The road to the fatal 4 way has been lacking mainly because the other three can’t keep up on the mic but it’s all just been more character building on the road to Double or Nothing.
