AEW exists because Meij allowed Kenny to leave. If he’d kept him the bucks would’ve fallen in line and cody would’ve gone straight back to wwe instead of starting up a new company all on his own.

Nah he left because they got complacent and didn’t take the negotiations seriously. Kenny was the one that they expected to stay forever. Even at the very end they were still fully confident he was going to re-sign
