Yes. WWE will offer MJF a ridiculous contract just as a fuck-you to AEW and because he makes for a great upper-midcard guy who can be easily slotted in to the main event scene whenever it needs a villain. He can also play an excellent face if need be. He's like a younger, better version of The Miz.

WWE doesn't need to spend big on AEW talent. Just leave them in AEW and their value diminishes.

Just look at Jay White. Why should WWE outlay big money for him? Just let him go to AEW, let his value diminish once he's poorly booked and exposed in the American market. Then they can take him on years later when he feels disillusioned and is much cheaper.

MJF can barely works in AEW, he couldn't handle a WWE schedule
WWE already has the Miz who is both a better wrestler and more over and similar guys in NXT ready to take that spot.

The truth is that MJF is very talented, but much like Cody who also overvalued himself, AEW does not actually need him due to the fact that they are already overflowing with millions of guys. Tony will likely lowball him because he knows that MJF's stock will plummet after he goes to WWE and things don't turn out too well.

I can see Max getting a bump from when Kenny, Hanger, and The Bucks inevitably leave. Tony'll want to hang onto him more with so many old faces leaving at once.

From there, Max staying or leaving depends on his relationship with Punk, but I can't imagine Phil forgiving Max for getting the fans to outchear him in his hometown.
