Nah, MJF has been exposed. He's great at being an annoying, despicable little shit in the midcard, but he doesn't have the aura and believability of a world champion. He wrestles so rarely and despite that, none of his matches have a must-see, big fight feel. A lot like the Miz in 2011, dude has all the ingredients, but he's far from ready.

Anon, you need to be special. Not necessarily at promos though. Rey Mysterio made it by being such an amazing worker, and I don't just mean his athleticism in ring because that certainly isn't enough on its own. Rey was incredible at selling and that combined with his small size, risky moveset, and different look made Rey a fantastic babyface. MJF doesn't have the tools to be a babyface. He's a natural heel both in looks and speaking style. And MJF isn't special in any aspect. He's a good wrestler but not a mat technician like Bret or Steamboat. He's a good talker but not a mic wizard like Piper or Dusty. He has no size to speak of and his physique isn't good. He has some charisma but nobody would say he's got magnetism like Jeff Hardy. MJF is just a guy and it's baffling that he's getting the push that he is.
