I do, by keeping them mostly seperated you mitigate the risk of diluting the shows and helps mitigate the potential feeling of people going "two shows is a bit much, maybe I'll stop following" if they can just follow one at a time closely and loosely keep up with the other.

The turn sucked.

Omega and Takeshita's friendship has barely been established on TV. Takeshita made the save for him once and they teamed together a month ago. That's mostly it. Omega's never shown with him on television otherwise and he has never been presented as one of his best friends like The Young Bucks are. There was no build to it. There was no expectation of it and I don't exactly know what the payoff is even supposed to be.

And to make things worse, Takeshita has played a face most of his career. He's going to need to come up with some new kind of gimmick and work a different way to get this over when the whole point of bringing him in was because of how he worked.

And Callis was trying to talk him out of it. Callis who we have seen wining and dining Takeshita on TV. Almost as if Takeshita figured he'd help out Don's guy and Don tried to stop him because he didn't want Kenny helped.
