If you job your guys too hard and make them look like second or third rate talents (kayfabe or otherwise) to the AEW guys, it loses the purpose of Forbidden Door at all to begin with.

The reason why Forbidden Door sold excellently compared to Double or Nothing is a combination of a better less tired market in Toronto and the fact that the last Forbidden Door was a big hit. Gedo needs to be careful to keep some of that allure, or there won't be great gates with Forbidden Doors in the future. Not to mention it starting to hurt New Japan's US shows as more of his guys keep being poached, another consequence of not being protective.

I seriously hope Gedo is smart enough to not have Okada job to Moxley. At least not cleanly.

There's not as many owlchads nowadays here, unfortunately. They were fucked up pretty hard by AEW, though, undeniably. Same is true of DDT and now TJPW.
