I think they're planning a really long reign with MJF. At the very least an entire year unless ratings tank REALLY bad. Maybe Darby summits Everest next spring then takes the strap off MJF in the summer.

The problem with Darby is that if he really does make a run at Everest, he's going to be gone for a long time. It takes 2 months just to climb the mountain plus I don't think he's completed the requirements to get a permit so that's going to take months too.

I think Lil NIgga may have bit off more than he can chew because I've never seen him post mountaineering stuff on his social media. He might not even know he has to complete another mountain before he can get an everest permit.

Tony is a long time message board indie smark. Adam Cole has been earmarked by those types as a superstar for a long fucking time now. Even in like 2010 people were saying Cole was going to be the next Shawn Michaels. After Danielson signed with the WWE, everyone was saying Cole was going to become the new king of the indies. Even though he's never really lived up to the hype, some people just can't let that shit go.

It probably also misleads Tony because Cole's entrance is over.

You end up effectively climbing Everest multiple times, because you have to go to each camp and back to base camp. You have to do this each time to acclimatise, before doing the summit climb

His feuds were ass but his matches were gold.
Probably had the best in-ring run out of any of the other champions, virtually all of his defenses were great and what wasn’t great was at least pretty good.
