Modern wrestling is so bad that I think the guy who caused me to give up on WCW and never give TNA a real chance has a place in the writers' room. Definately shouldn't be a solo booker, frankly I don't think he has that in him anymore, but I think wrestling would be better know with him throwing out ideas in WWE or AEW.

Russo has said that he rarely watched ECW, he saw some characters he liked like Al Snow, Dudleyz, Blue Meanie and Taz that he helped to bring to WWF. But he has said that his biggest influence was what WCW was doing that time (96-97)
