hero in his prime had it all. dimes look, good talker, could work any style in the ring, great face and heel, great singles and tag wrestler, and had an all-time feud with kingston. the modern-day barry windham. i'm sure he'll still be good if he comes back, but he looks like complete shit and he's in his 40s, so yeah, wasted potential

I think his 2011 (FCW)-2012 (NXT) ended due to a couple of different things. But I think Hero said that some of the coaches wasn't a fan of him giving advice to some of the younger wrestlers as they felt like Hero was there to be coached and not coaching others

Some of you guys were around for it, and probably never even knew wrestling outside the wwe existed until 2019. But in the early 2000s people looked at the indie landscape and everyone assume Hero would be the only one to make it just cause he was legit over 6 foot. Low Ki and Colt Cabana ended up reaching the mainstream and he didn’t. Wild.

I think in the early 2000s he was rather skinny, and the stupid shorts he wore did him no favors. But it's wild to me that ROH in 2010-2011 went with Roderick Strong & Eddie Edwards over Chris Hero as champion
