Jim is a great editor, work checker or general reference of quality or logic, where he's able to think of something in wrestling to make sense and set up for stuff down the line.
He's not good at being the guy to give the ideas or for a general creative vision
The best creative line-up would be a Paul Heyman/Levesque at the head and then Jim as the right hand/editor to bounce stuff off of/keep the bad impulses in check

Smoky Mountain ran my town a few times when I was little, and my dad was a huge mark, so he would take me to any wrestling show. All I really remember was that they couldn’t get the ring mic right and the matches were really boring. Also he took me to an indie show there like a year later and there were a lot more people there lol
