The reality is that AEW fans always view themselves as a distant number 2. They don't believe this is WCW vs WWF, they view it as a more profitable TNA vs WWE.
So they will always have to try and prove that they aren't the little brother company, when they know they are.

I don't watch WWE and I do not care about it or AEW's relative position with regards to it. Nobody has to "prove" anything to anyone. Nobody desires your approval to enjoy a tv show.
