From 1997-2000 the most liked wrestlers on the IWC were Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Mick Foley and Eddie Guerrero. People also really liked Booker T

Ric Flair should've left WCW once it became clear that they were hitching their wagon to the NWO storyline for the foreseeable future which was by the end of 1996.
WCW had nothing interesting or worthwhile for Flair to do for years until the feud with Hogan in early '99.

Jake Roberts claims he was considered for the WWF Championship in '91-'92. If he became champion, he would've been the worst world champion ever up to that point in time. Roberts was completely washed up even in the early 90s
even with the hot feud Savage still couldn't drag a great match out of him. If you've seen one Roberts match, you've pretty much seen them all.

Bret's WCW run is overhated including by Bret himself
his matches were still always a highlight of any show he was on.
the biggest problems with his WCW run were presentation issues like messing around with his theme music every week and Buffer botching his name often (very strange that Buffer had a hard time with Bret's name and no one else's, almost like someone put him up to screwing it up on purpose).
and WCW being a factions promotion and never knowing where to put Bret. you couldn't do the hart foundation anymore because in 1998 both Bulldog and Neidhart were washed up

Undertaker was legit garbage through most of his career and only from around 2005 did he actually start having okay matches and even then a lot of the time they were terrible.

People want to spergout all the time about move and finisher spam, Undertaker literally started that shit with his WM matches. Kick out after kick out after kick out.

The in ring product around the world had never been worse and there’s no indication it will get better.
American matches peaked in the 80s and had a small bounce back in the mid 2000s.
Japanese matches have been in a complete free fall since the 2010s.
And Mexico has never been good.

Yeah. AEW pulled the trigger on him and it didn’t set the world on fire, in part to then doing a stupid “I don’t want to be here or do anything” story he’s doing and in part to the rest of the “talent” being complete dog shit. But it’s clear he needs wwe more than wwe needs him. Tony will break the bank to keep him but wwe is just going to offer him “the opportunity.”

They pulled the trigger with that shit 4way program, WWE taking him is worth it as he is worth alot to AEW and fucks up a long list of their potential storylines they have built the foundations for if WWE gets him soon enough, including the Punk title program, Darby rematch, Wardlow rematch, eventual matches with the Elite, etc.

1. War Games has always been massively overrated as match concept and entirely dependent on the popularity of the people in it.
1A. Taking the roof off was an improvement.
2.This Fire Burns shits on Cult of Personality and Miseria Cantare.
3. Hangman Page is literally a nobody if "Cowboy Shit" doesn't get over.
4. Standing and trading strikes spots are as fake and gay as the choreographed flippy shit.
5. He goes too far with some of them, but most VINCE-isms are logical, if not outright good rules. My personal favorite being his absolute distaste of commentator's using pronouns.

Jericho should have ended goldberg’s streak clean with a rollup or surprise victory roll pin. Nice clean finish, but it establishes him as a top guy and former world champion going into his wwf debut. Rock can feud with jericho & austin can feud with HHH, it makes wwe look like the good guy fed for pushing a wcw star into the main event and causes more wcw stars to be inticed to join
