I DID know about thigh slapping, I just didn't know why they were doing it. I thought it was a shoot martial arts thing.
I took taekwondo when I was a kid, and instructor had to explain to me that you don't slap your leg when you throw kicks.

Also because Jim Johnston was brilliant at finding vocalists who had a voice that fit the wrestlers they were doing themes for to a tee. Big Show, D'Lo, Billy Gunn, Mark Henry, so many. And yeah the fact that there were some who already did do their own themes made the idea of it not seem too farfetched at all.

lmao, I thought Randy Orton and Edge sang their themes because the vocalists matched their aura so well. I also thought Rob Van Dam and Jean-Claude were shoot brothers and did some mental gymnastics as to why their names were spelled differently. I thought it had something to do with US passport laws or something.
