Because if you're some low card UFC jobber like Lawlor was nobody gives a fuck if your character is "mma guy". Riddle didn't make it his character which is why he got over and made it in pro wrestling. Worst of all is dimeless fake mma guys like Kyle O Reily, who don't even have any of the credibility of real mma jobbers.
