In Day of Reckoning once you beat the game you got all the points you unlocked to use as much as you like on your other wrestlers. With the Smackdown games you'd unlock points when you played I think regardless if you played with created superstars or existing and once you played awhile you'd have basically an infinite amount of points anyway.
