>>10435143>>10435096I dont think the top has cheese. Looks like more noodles. I am not an expert but here are my tips:
1. Do not ever boil lasagna noodles before baking. The moisture of the dish will cook the noodles sufficiently as it bakes. If you try this and youre not satisfied, look for the type of lasagna noodle thats advertised as “no need to boil”
2. If you dont want to make ragu from scratch then use the cans of pasta sauce. Do not use tomato paste unless you are building a ragu from scratch. Dont let your ragu cook down too much before building the lasagna and baking it — leave some moisture to cook out when baking, which helps to cook the noodles right.
3. Mix your ricotta with some raw egg, pepper, italian herbs and mozzarella.
4. Put on a top layer of sauce and finish with a healthy layer of shredded mozzarella. Do not put your ricotta mix on the top layer.
