Napoleon Blownapart has a great video on it. His injuries delayed his fight with his first opponent so long that he actually got UFC level experience so Punk never stood a chance against him and by his 2nd fight the experiment had failed and Punk probably didn’t care enough.

I took a 2-month MMA beginner's course last year for the fuck of it and by the end of the very first standup lesson I could throw better punches and kicks than Phil in that webm. Even the girls in my class had better technique for fucks sake.
