It all started in the summer of 2015, when the Arab Spring angle had run its course and Syria was plunged into an authority-revolution storyline.
In the sports entertainment presentation, Bashar al-Assad (WWE Universal Syrian President) was the heel and ISIS were the terrori- babyfaces, but there was a catch.

One such arranged occasion was when allegedly, Assad had bombed a bakery full of children with some barrel bombs.
This turned out to be false, but the idea seemed funny and the marks started cutting promos about how Assad was gonna "bake bread" against ISIS.
From there it was easy to change the signwriting.
"Make a new thread" became "bake a new thread", "new thread is in the oven gimme a few minutes", and then finally "baking new bread".
And there you have it.
