It's unbelievable that he did completely 180 with his character work in such a short time. I think this character switch from messiah to gay-ass joker is one of the best recent examples to introduce someone new to the concept how wrestling entertainment works. His Survivor Series self-sacrifice is so ridiculously over-the-top but awesome at the same time.
Like i just enjoy KO v Rollins at WM36 because of Kevin's constant sarcastic remarks "Come on Messiah, Come on God!" Also KO's face is priceless when Messiah makes self-sacrifice as his team mate at the Survivor Series.
