Hard to care about anything in aew because it's presented so badly.
Punk's return was announced by an autistic robot in front of a green screen with no fanfare. There has been nothing done to hype his return up other than a subsequent robot announcement that he's having a random match for no reason.
No one has talked about it on screen. Nothing is building towards it. It's flat, like everything in aew.
