Every single sub I ever visit is gone and it's been plastered all over news websites around the world. None of what happened with Twitter was anything close to this, and didn't affect the ability of people to use the site. Mastodon is far too complicated for the average normie to wrap their head around. A copy and paste of Reddit's format wouldn't be.
