AEW starting rallied fans for both opposing companies, and HHH taking over sealed the deal in the eyes of the fanbase, plus HHH obviously took away the model gimmick and is waiting to push him when other stuff wraps up. HHH does the same 'make it seem like we're not going to use him so he gets sympathy then pull the trigger'. If they wanted to kill him they'd do what they did to Ziggler and just never give him mic time or take him off tv. LA Knight also never actually loses completely clean anymore.
