I can understand not wanting to finish the story at Mania while it was still going but something actually has to happen if it keeps going.
You could have had Cody win MITB for a pre-determined cash-in at Summerslam, or just had him beat Brock at Saudimania and carry that momentum to Summerslam with a filler feud at MITB in-between. Now it's gotta be Cody vs Brock at Summerslam.
