But then all the big factories like Stelco closed down and the place became a gutted, decrepit dump. Still though, all the jobs in the city are still tied into the old union structure anyway. You can't get any decent job unless you join a union. So the unions have complete control and make everyone vote for the union/NDP/commie party. They neglect the city and it's become a shithole.
The only reason why we have big arenas is because they were built back when the city still had money. They're now crumbling apart and in disrepair. NOBODY with any money goes anywhere near those old shithole arenas. Not sure why they're still even there.
